FloppyDisQ public beta: a macOS sampler and an Android sampling workstation

FloppyDisQ by Techie Turk Design is available for a free public beta through
28 April 2027. Email verification unlocks the downloads; no payment card,
subscription or automatic renewal is required. The expiry date is shared by
all users and does not restart when installing or updating.

macOS version 0.22.13: Universal 2 AU and VST3 instrument plug-ins for compatible
DAWs, including AU hosting in Logic Pro. Requires macOS 13 or later on Intel
or Apple Silicon. This is an ad-hoc signed development build, not notarized.

Android version 0.10.2: a standalone sampler, audio/MIDI DAW, mixer and step
sequencer with keyboard/16-pad performance, pattern naming and quantize.
Requires Android 8 or later. It is a direct-install APK, not a Play Store release.
System playback capture needs Android 10 or later and a source app that permits
capture. Bluetooth audio can add noticeable latency.

Both platforms offer sixteen layers, WAV sampling, SFZ-subset multisample
playback, key mapping, envelopes, filters, modulation and a real-time Time Engine.
Android DAW projects and desktop plug-in presets use different formats.

The shared signed key expires 2027-04-28T07:34:39Z. Android includes activation;
macOS users paste the supplied key. Saved projects and sample files remain after
expiry; export backups before uninstalling or clearing app data.

Screenshots are actual application screens. Android images show the unchanged
workstation layout from 0.10.1; 0.10.2 adds the public license controls. Development
and compatibility testing continue; these are beta builds, not a stability guarantee.
